Privacy Policy

FlipX Studio App - How we handle your data and protect your privacy.

Effective date: 1 January 2026  ·  Last updated: 1 January 2026  ·  Publisher: Hasnain Butt Akhtar

1. Overview

FlipX Studio is a Windows desktop media-conversion and AI-assistant app. This policy explains what information the App accesses and how it is used.

FlipX Studio primarily processes files locally on your device.

We only access data needed to deliver features you actively use. If you do not use a feature, related data is not processed for that feature.

This policy is provided for Microsoft Store compliance and user transparency.

2. Local processing on your device

FlipX Studio processes your files locally on your device to perform the actions you request.

Selected Files and Paths

File paths and technical metadata (for example name, extension, size, resolution, duration) are used locally to run conversions you request.

Conversion Settings

Local app settings such as output format, quality, presets, output folder, and workflow preferences are stored on your device.

Temporary Processing Files

Temporary files generated during conversion (for example intermediate audio/video files) that are deleted by the app workflow when processing ends.

Voice and Transcription Inputs

If you use voice assistant or transcription features, audio/text is processed only for that feature workflow.

Purchase/License State

Microsoft Store license state is checked to determine whether Pro features are unlocked. FlipX Studio does not maintain its own user account database.

3. Optional network and external services

FlipX Studio does not collect personal data for analytics or advertising. Network access is only used for optional features you choose:

Microsoft Store Purchases

For one-time Pro unlock purchases and restore, the app communicates with Microsoft Store services using your Microsoft account context.

Optional Speech Model Download

When you enable offline voice features, required model files may be downloaded once and stored locally on your device.

User-Requested External Links

Opening website, support, or policy pages only when explicitly requested by you.

No Advertising or Tracking SDKs

FlipX Studio does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you for advertising purposes.

What We Do Not Collect

FlipX Studio does not collect contacts, messages, advertising ID, precise device location, or personal profile data.

4. Data sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use third-party advertising SDKs in the desktop app.

We only rely on Microsoft Store services when needed to deliver app functionality you choose (for example purchase and license restore).

Microsoft Store purchase and account handling are governed by Microsoft privacy terms in addition to this policy.

5. Microphone and other permissions

FlipX Studio primarily converts local files and does not require microphone access for core conversion.

If a feature requests microphone access (for example voice input), it is used only for that feature workflow.

You can manage Windows permissions at any time in system settings.

6. Local storage and retention

The App stores configuration and preset data locally so your settings persist between launches.

Output files are stored in locations you choose. You control retention and deletion of those outputs.

You can remove local app data by uninstalling the app and deleting related local-data folders.

7. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect local app data. Final security also depends on your Windows account and device security controls.

8. Children’s privacy

FlipX Studio is not directed to children under 13.

9. No account-based personal data collection

FlipX Studio does not require creating a personal app account and does not maintain a customer profile database for app usage.

Your files remain under your control on your device unless you explicitly choose to share them externally.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest revision.
