MoneyHalo is developed by Hasnain Studio X with a local‑first, privacy‑first design philosophy. Your watchlists and portfolio stay on your PC.

1. Overview

MoneyHalo is a Windows market tracker built with a local-first, privacy-first design philosophy. Your watchlists, portfolio, and alerts are stored on your PC. To show live prices and calendars, the app requests public market data directly from third-party providers.

  • We do not collect personal data.
  • We do not transmit your watchlists, portfolio, or alerts anywhere.
  • We do not operate servers for our apps.
  • Market data is requested directly from public third-party providers.
  • We do not sell, share, or monetize user data.

We operate no servers of our own, so your data is never sent to us.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

MoneyHalo does not collect, store, or send any of the following:

Personal Identity Data

No name, email, phone number, address, or identifiers.

Usage Data or Analytics

No telemetry, crash analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs of any kind.

Your Portfolio and Watchlists

Holdings, watchlists, alerts, and signal history are stored on your PC only. They are never uploaded to us or to any market data provider.

Account or Broker Credentials

MoneyHalo does not connect to brokerage accounts and never asks for broker logins, account numbers, or payment details.

Location Data

No GPS, IP-based location, or device location.

Market Data Requests

To display quotes, charts, currency rates, earnings dates, and IPO calendars, MoneyHalo requests public data directly from Yahoo Finance, Nasdaq, Finnhub, and Frankfurter. Those requests carry only the ticker symbols or currencies you are viewing, and are subject to each provider’s own privacy policy. No account details, portfolio data, or identifiers are included.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

App Settings

Your theme, accent, alert thresholds, and startup preferences are saved locally under your user profile only.

Watchlists and Portfolio

Symbols you follow and positions you enter are stored locally under your user profile.

Market Data Cache

Recently fetched quotes and charts are cached locally so the app stays responsive and makes fewer requests.

Local Trial or Licence State

Managed entirely by the Microsoft Store. The app reads it locally; we receive nothing.

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it.

4. Microsoft Store Licensing

MoneyHalo is a paid app with a Microsoft Store managed free trial. All licensing, payments, and transactions are handled exclusively by Microsoft.

  • We do not process payment information.
  • We do not store payment details.
  • We do not receive your Microsoft account information.

5. App Permissions

Full Trust Desktop

MoneyHalo runs as a full trust desktop app so it can perform real maintenance, such as clearing caches, resetting the network stack, and repairing system files. These actions run locally.

Administrator Approval

Repairs that change protected settings ask for Windows administrator approval each time, so you always stay in control.

On-Device Processing

Every scan, cleanup, and repair is performed on your PC. No system data is sent off the device.

Network Access

Used only for the Microsoft Store licence check and for network tools you start yourself, such as Ping, Traceroute, the DNS benchmark, and the connection speed test. Those tools contact the public servers being tested (for example your DNS provider or a public speed-test host), never us. No data is sent to Hasnain Studio X.

6. Children's Privacy

MoneyHalo is a general-purpose utility tool. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not collect any data from any user.

7. Policy Updates

If this policy changes, we will update the version and effective date. Any changes will remain consistent with our core principle: Your data stays on your device.
