PC Screen Recorder Pro is developed by Hasnain Studio X with a local-first, privacy-first design philosophy.
All recording, analysis, and export processing happens locally on your device.
PC Screen Recorder Pro does not collect, store, or send any of the following:
No name, email, phone number, address, or identifiers.
No telemetry, crash analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
No videos, audio, screenshots, step lists, or anything the app records or generates for you.
No passwords, tokens, credentials, browsing history, or system logs.
No GPS, IP-based location, or device location.
We do not run servers, so nothing can be uploaded even by accident.
Your preferences, theme, and recorder configuration are saved locally on your device only.
Your videos, their step lists, chapters, and markers are saved to the folder you choose and are never transmitted.
Edited videos, looping clips, audio-only files and step guide documents are written next to your recordings, on your device only.
Still frames you capture during a recording are saved as image files in the same folder you chose. They are never uploaded.
A small preview image is generated for each recording so the library can show it. These are cached in the app's own local folder and are deleted when you delete the recording.
Managed entirely by the Microsoft Store. The app reads it locally; we receive nothing.
This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it yourself.
PC Screen Recorder Pro offers a free trial and a one-time purchase. All licensing, payments, and transactions are handled exclusively by Microsoft.
PC Screen Recorder Pro requests only the minimum permissions required for core functionality. Permissions are used solely for app features and never for data collection.
Only while you are recording, and only the display, region or window you chose. Recordings go straight to your own folder.
Opened only when you switch the microphone on, from the device you pick. While the microphone toggle is on, a live level meter reads the signal so you can check it before recording; that meter measures loudness only and nothing is written to disk until you press record. Nothing captured while a recording is paused is ever written to the file.
Captured from the output device you pick, only while you are recording or previewing its level. It is mixed into your recording and nowhere else.
Opened only when you turn the presenter inset on, and only for the duration of a recording. The camera image is composited directly into your video file. It is never streamed, stored separately, or sent anywhere.
While a recording is running, and only if you leave interaction tracking on, the app observes mouse clicks and key presses so it can build your step list, chapters and typing markers. It records when you typed, never what you typed: the characters you press are never stored, never written to the insights file, and never shown on screen. The optional on-screen shortcut chip displays command keys such as Ctrl+S only, and never plain typed characters. All of this stops the moment the recording stops.
Step detection, reading the interface text near your clicks, and silence analysis run entirely on your PC using the Windows on-device engines. No image, no audio and no text is sent anywhere for processing.
Used only for the Microsoft Store licence check. No recording or personal data is ever sent.
PC Screen Recorder Pro captures whatever you point it at. You are responsible for what you record. Recording other people, their voices, their screens, or protected content may require their consent or a licence where you live. Please use the app only where you have the right to capture what is on screen and what is being said.
The privacy mask lets you black out a sensitive area of the screen before you start, and the blackout is applied to the frame as it is captured, so the masked content never reaches the file at all.
PC Screen Recorder Pro is a general-purpose productivity/utility tool. It is not directed to children under 13 and does not collect any data from any user.
If this policy changes, we will update the version and effective date. Any changes will remain consistent with our core principle: Your data stays on your device.
