QuantumDrop App - How your data is handled and protected.

1. Overview

QuantumDrop is a Windows desktop app for fast, secure, local file, folder, link, and text transfers between devices on your own network.

QuantumDrop performs all transfers directly between your devices on your local network and does not transmit your files or personal data to Hasnain Studio X.

We do not sell, share, or monetize user data.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

QuantumDrop does not collect or send the following to the developer:

Identity Data

Name, email, phone number, or personal identity data.

Transferred Content

The files, folders, links, and text you send stay on your devices and are never uploaded to our servers.

Telemetry

No analytics, ad tracking, or third-party telemetry SDKs are used.

Sensitive System Data

No password, credential, keychain, or hidden account data is collected.

3. Data Stored Locally

App Settings

Your theme, device ID, trusted peers, and folder pairings are stored locally on your device.

Transfer History

A local list of recent sends and receives is kept on your device so you can review and retry. You can clear it at any time.

Received Files

Incoming files are saved to your local Downloads\QuantumDrop folder only.

4. Network and Third-Party Services

QuantumDrop communicates only on your local network to discover and reach the devices you transfer with. It does not contact Hasnain Studio X servers, and there are no third-party analytics or advertising services.

Peer discovery and transfers: Devices are discovered and connected over your local Wi-Fi or LAN. Transfer payloads are protected with session encryption between peers.

Phone bridge: When you start the bridge, QuantumDrop runs a small web server on your local network so a phone browser on the same network can upload or download files. This page is reachable only on your local network.

Hotspot and QR codes: QR codes are generated on your device to share a local Wi-Fi join payload or a temporary local download link. No QR data leaves your network.

5. Microsoft Store Purchase and Trial

QuantumDrop is a paid app with a Microsoft Store managed free trial. Purchase, trial, and license validation are handled by the Microsoft Store under Microsoft policies.

QuantumDrop does not process or store payment card details.

6. App Permissions

QuantumDrop requests internet client and full-trust desktop capabilities needed for local network transfers, the phone bridge, and hotspot features. These permissions are used only for app functionality and not for data harvesting.

7. Children's Privacy

QuantumDrop is intended for general users and is not directed to children under 13.

8. Policy Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the effective date and version on this page.
