Audio Endpoints (WASAPI)
SpatiaX Ultra enumerates and connects to your Windows audio capture and render endpoints (speakers, headphones, virtual cables) so it can route processed audio. Only device identifiers, friendly names, sample rate and channel count are accessed - never any audio content.
Live Audio Stream
The system audio loopback stream is processed in real time inside the local DSP engine (EQ, spatializer, HRTF, surround, dynamics). Audio frames exist only in process memory during playback and are never written to disk or transmitted.
App Preferences and Presets
Local app settings such as selected output device, latency, sound mode, EQ curve, presets, per-device calibration and macro slider positions are stored under your Windows AppData folder.
HRTF Datasets (Optional)
If you place a KEMAR-format HRTF dataset in the app's HRTF\ folder, SpatiaX Ultra loads it locally to power binaural rendering. The dataset is read only at startup; the App never uploads or shares it.
Purchase / License State
Microsoft Store license state is checked at launch to determine whether your free trial is active, expired, or whether a full purchase is associated with your Microsoft account.
