1. Overview

WordX Suite is a Windows desktop productivity app with XPDF, XDOC, XMATH, and local AI assistant capabilities. This policy explains what information the app accesses and how it is used.

WordX Suite primarily processes your content locally on your device.

We only access data needed to deliver features you actively use. If you do not use a feature, related data is not processed for that feature.

This policy is provided for Microsoft Store compliance and user transparency.

2. Local processing on your device

WordX Suite processes files locally on your device to perform actions you request.

Selected Files and Paths

File paths and metadata (for example file name, extension, size, page/sheet stats) are used locally to open, edit, and export your content.

Editor and Layout Settings

Local app settings such as editor preferences, visual theme, formatting options, and workflow choices are stored on your device.

Temporary and Recovery Files

Temporary working files and crash-recovery/autosave data may be created locally and managed by app workflows.

Local AI Inputs

In this build, AI processing is local-only. Prompts and tool operations are processed on-device for the feature workflow you invoke.

Purchase and License State

Microsoft Store license state is checked to determine trial/pro access. WordX Suite does not maintain its own user account system.

3. Network and external services

WordX Suite does not use advertising trackers. Network access is limited to platform or user-requested functionality:

Microsoft Store Purchases

For one-time Pro unlock purchase and entitlement checks, the app communicates with Microsoft Store services.

User-Requested External Links

Website, support, and policy pages are opened only when explicitly requested by you.

No Advertising SDKs

WordX Suite does not include third-party ad SDKs and does not profile users for advertising.

What We Do Not Collect

WordX Suite does not collect contacts, SMS, call logs, advertising ID, precise location, or personal social profile data.

4. Data sharing and selling

We do not sell personal information.

We do not use advertising SDKs in the desktop app.

We rely on Microsoft Store services only where required for user-selected functionality (for example purchase and activation).

Microsoft Store account and payment handling are governed by Microsoft privacy terms in addition to this policy.

5. Permissions and access

WordX Suite primarily edits local documents and does not request unnecessary permissions for core workflows.

Any platform permission is used only for the related feature workflow and can be managed in Windows settings.

6. Local storage and retention

The app stores configuration and workflow data locally so settings persist between launches.

Output files are stored in locations you choose. You control retention and deletion of those files.

You can remove local app data through uninstall/reset actions in Windows.

7. Security

We apply reasonable safeguards to local app data. Final security also depends on your Windows account and device protections.

8. Children’s privacy

WordX Suite is not directed to children under 13.

9. No account-based personal data collection

WordX Suite does not require a separate app account and does not maintain a customer profile database for everyday usage.

Your files remain under your control unless you explicitly export/share them.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy over time. The “Last updated” date will reflect the latest revision.
